Hand Dyed Ecoprint Silk Charmeuse Scarf One-of-a-Kind 061 in Autumn colors
$75.00
Ecoprint Scarf 061 begins with a lovely Silk Charmeuse fabric that drapes beautifully and feels luxuriously soft next to the skin. It's a muted crepe on the back and shimmery satin on the top.
This scarf is dyed with the tradition of rolling up flowers and leaves from nature into a piece of cloth and dyeing it naturally, which is called ecoprinting. This piece was created with hibiscus, rose leaves and petals, blue clematis, purple petunias, and orange dahlias from my gardens.
The ecoprinting process involves steaming the scarf to set the dyes, and this often results in minor wrinkles and creases, which are considered part of the character of the scarf, and contribute the inherent beauty inspired by nature.
The bottom of each scarf has unique lined markings where the string was tied around the scarf as it steamed. This is often my favorite part.
Measurements: 11" x 56".
Hand wash in cool water with mild soap and lay flat to dry. Lightly iron at silk setting...and remember, wrinkles have character!
This garment ships USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation in the US.
