Hibiscus, rose petals and leaves, blue clematis, and purple petunias were used to create lovely ecoprint one-of-a-kind scarf 039. The ecoprinting tradition is a process of bundling and steaming plant materials directly into the cloth; this often results in minor wrinkles and creases, which are considered part of the character of the scarf, and contribute the inherent beauty inspired by nature. No inks, dyes or paints are used...just the colors from the flowers and leaves themselves.

The bottom of each scarf has unique lined markings where the string was tied around the scarf as it steamed. This is often my favorite part.

Fiber content: Silk Satin. This fabric has a beautiful sheen and drapes gracefully.

Measurements: 56 inches long by 11 inches wide.

Hand wash in cool water with mild soap and lay flat to dry. Wear crinkled, or lightly iron at silk setting...and remember, wrinkles have character!
